Gilt Man names Nick Wooster fashion advisor

Nick WoosterNEW YORK—Online flash sale site Gilt Groupe has named former Neiman Marcus men’s fashion director Nick Wooster as fashion advisor for Gilt Man.

As a consultant to the Gilt Man merchandising team, Wooster will provide trend forecasting and creative direction. He will report to Gilt Man general manager John Auerbach.

Auerbach commented, “As we continue to expand our men’s division, Nick Wooster’s accomplished fashion and merchandising experience will help solidify Gilt Man’s presence in the market and the increasing success of Gilt Groupe’s business as a whole. We are excited to have Nick join the team and look forward to incorporating his advice and ideas in to the plan for Gilt Man’s expansion moving forward.”

Wooster left Neiman Marcus in May, after just over a year. Prior to that he was director of creative services at Los Angeles-based Splendid/Ella Moss. He has also held positions at John Bartlett, Ralph Lauren, Calvin Klein, Barneys and Bergdorf Goodman. Last week, the Project trade show announced that it had hired Wooster as a consultant for its upcoming Las Vegas show.
