COLUMBUS, Ohio—Custom clothier Astor & Black has named Christian Boehm as its new president. Boehm joins Astor & Black from the Tom James Company, where he was a VP. His first task, the company said, will be to align Astor & Black’s recruiting, e-commerce and distribution channels with its growth in sales.
“Christian’s expertise and background in the clothing industry will serve Astor & Black well,” commented Astor & Black founder David Shottenstein. “We pride ourselves on the un-matched quality of our hand-crafted clothing and feel that his experience building an international brand will lend itself to our expanding presence in the industry.”
“Astor & Black is a dynamic brand,” added Boehm. “We are going to take the brand to the next level by offering a phenomenal product at an unrivaled value. This, combined with exceptional personal service in the client’s home or office, will make Astor & Black the brand to watch in the next five years.”
Astor & Black was founded in 2004 by David Shottenstein. The company opened its first store early last year in Las Vegas.
