Larry Kniola named president, dress furnishings at HMX

NEW YORK—HMX Group has named Larry Kniola as its president of dress furnishings, a new position. He will be based in HMX’s New York office.

Kniola spent 17 years at Superba, which was purchased by PVH in 2006. At PVH, he was named EVP, sales and marketing for the Neckwear Group.

HMX chief executive Doug Williams commented, “Joseph Abboud and I are very excited about Larry joining our team. As we continue to develop each of our brands into full lifestyle collections the dress furnishings opportunity for growth is substantial. In his role, Larry will oversee the development, sales, and marketing of all Dress Shirts for Hickey Freeman, Hart Schaffner & Marx, Palm Beach, Austin Reed, and Coppley brands.”
