NEW YORK—HMX has named Marty Weinberg as the new chief operating officer and chief financial officer for the HMX Group, reporting to CEO Doug Williams. Weinberg will oversee finance, IT, legal, HR, manufacturing and distribution.
Weinberg’s most recent previous position was as the CFO of Kids Headquarters, which was acquired by Li & Fung in October. He has had similar CFO positions at Sean John, Elie Tahari and JA Apparel.
“Weinberg brings over 25 years of experience supporting apparel brands from both a finance and operations perspective,” said Williams in a statement. “We’re thrilled to have him join the HMX team.”
“I am looking forward to working with Doug and Joseph; helping them grow our portfolio of brands strategically, while maximizing HMX’s cash flow and profit,” added Weinberg.
