Ike Behar Adds Two Boys’ Wear Licenses

NEW YORK—Ike Behar is expanding its boys’ wear range with two new licenses. Fishman & Tobin has been licensed for apparel and Master Accessories has been licensed for belts, small leather goods and gifts.

These are in addition to Ike Behar’s existing license agreement with PVH for boys’ neckwear.

Ike Behar president Alan Behar commented, “Our brand reflects a discerning lifestyle and the boys’ business will emulate our concern for excellence as we reintroduce boys’ apparel and accessories to the Ike Behar brand. Collaborating with best-in-class childrenswear experts such as Fishman and Tobin, Master Accessories and PVH is crucial to bringing top-tier products to the market and we’re thrilled with the offerings our partners are presenting for spring 2011.”

Added Fishman & Tobin president Jimmy Rosenfeld, “Partnering with the Ike Behar brand brings a new dimension to our company’s offerings and fills a void in the marketplace for a better boys’ wear label. Ike Behar, like Fishman and Tobin, is a heritage company known for its craftsmanship and we took inspiration from their men’s line to create suits and suit separates for boys that will bring excitement to the market this coming spring.”

Harold Master, CEO of Master Accessories said, “Master Accessories is glad to be part of the Ike Behar Boys team. Our first collection under the Ike Behar label will be available for Spring 2011 and will reflect their quality, image and distribution. The collection will consist of dress belts, casual belts and suspenders with a modern look. We look forward to a successful collaboration.”
