NEW YORK—Macy’s has named Richard Arnstein EVP/General Merchandise Manager for its menswear team, reporting to chief merchandising officer Jeff Gennette. Arnstein, who will succeed the late Kevin Morrissey, starts September 1. Arnstein has been EVP/GMM for the jewelry and fashion accessories division since May 2009.
Arnstein’s menswear career started at Abraham & Straus where he was in the executive training program in 1979. He has held various positions at A&S and Macy’s, including DMM, men’s furnishings from 1987 to 1997, when he was promoted to SVP of jewelry.
