David Peyser Sportswear, Inc., parent of Weatherproof and MV Sport, today announced the acquisition of Junior Gallery, Ltd., a designer and wholesaler of women’s coats and outerwear.

Susan Maroney has been named president of Junior Gallery effective March 15th. Ms. Maroney is a retail industry veteran, having spent over 20 years at May Merchandising with her most recent position as Divisional Vice President for Coats, Dresses and Suits. Ms. Maroney brings an impressive managerial background in both the retail and wholesale industries to the company. Additionally, Susan spent two and a half years at Gallery as a Merchandise Manager prior to her leadership role at a non-profit.

Junior Gallery will remain in its current offices at463 Seventh Avenue and will be operated as an independent division of David Peyser Sportswear, Inc.
