LOS ANGELES—Luxury leather goods brand Sandast will open its first retail store in May in downtown Los Angeles. The 4,000 sq. ft. flagship will carry the full range of men’s and women’s leather goods and accessories.
The store, on 1205 South Hill Street in a converted auto garage, will feature a studio where founder Milan Franeta and Sandast’s craftsmen will work.
“With a museum like experience of found items, fixtures and displays, Sandast’s flagship store will offer a full lifestyle shopping experience,” the company said in a statement. “Sandast pieces will be sold along side many of Franeta’s favorite brands including Red Wing boots, H by Hudson shoes, selvedge Nudie jeans, G-Star plaid shirts, and Thom Browne sunglasses.
Sandast was founded in 2006 by Milan Franeta, a self-taught leather smith.
