Barbour to open Chicago flagship

BarbourCHICAGO—Barbour will open a Chicago store in May this year. The US subsidiary of the UK-based J. Barbour & Sons, Ltd. said the two-story flagship store will be at 54 Walton Street.

This will be the second Barbour store for Chicago. The brand’s temporary pop-up store, opened in November last year at Halstad Street in Lincoln Park, has become a permanent one.

“Chicago shoppers are looking for stylish, yet practical, options for everyday wear and special occasions,” said Barbour’s North American general manager Tom Hooven. “Barbour provides shoppers with fashionable, classic pieces that fit any wardrobe. We hope to continue to offer Chicagoans quality clothing and an unparalleled customer service experience for years to come.”

Barbour also operates stores in New York, Boston, Philadelphia, Washington, D.C. and in Ardmore, Penn.
