It was a great evening on Friday April 26th as the Rhode Island School of Design museum in Providence previewed a special exhibit: Artist/Rebel/Dandy. Documenting the enduring global impact of the dandy, the exhibit traced men’s fashion from Beau Brummell in the late 18th century to today’s international stylemakers. Among the event’s major sponsors: Marc Allen Clothiers of Providence.
Special guest at the black tie dinner was André Leon Talley who told the (very well-dressed) crowd that the whole time he was a student at Brown, he was always totally inspired by the students and professors at Rhode Island School of Design. Here’s to our industry’s future!
