Bellettini to take helm at Saint Laurent

Yves Saint Laurent

Francesca Bellettini has been named as the new chief executive officer at luxury label Saint Laurent, replacing Paul Deneve who has resigned to take up a new post in another industry.

Bellettini moves to Kering-owned Yves Saint Laurent from Bottega Veneta, another brand in the company’s line-up, where she is an executive director. She has also worked at Gucci, Helmut Lang and the Prada Group.

Meanwhile, brand creative director Hedi Slimane has expanded his role and will now also supervise all strategic projects in addition to brand image and design.

Yves Saint Laurent said it will pursue the transformation inspired by Slimane, who has “successfully rejuvenated and re-positioned the brand.”
