Men’s clothing manufacturer Samuelsohn celebrated its 90th anniversary with a lavish party on the roof of the Ink 48 hotel in New York on Sunday. There was a lot to celebrate as their parent company, Grano Investments, licensed the label and acquired the Rochester factory of Hickey Freeman earlier in the week. New York Senator Charles Schumer told the crowd how proud he was that the deal brought together two great brands and saved hundreds of jobs in New York State. Also, during the presentation segment of the evening, CEO Stephen Granovsky announced a financial commitment to Happy Hearts Fund, a project initiated and headed by supermodel Petra Nemcova, who spoke about the work they do. The fund is engaged in re-building the schools and lives of children devastated by natural disaster.
Samuelsohn has more than doubled its volume since being acquired by Grano and appointing Arnold Brant Silverstone at its president three years ago.
The crowd of more than 150 people ate, drank and danced to live music on a perfect New York rooftop evening. Check out the photos below.
