Will Leather Goods’ second retail store officially opens on Friday. The new store is in Portland, Oregon in the Union Way development downtown, between the Ace Hotel and Powell’s Books in a 1,600 sq. ft. space.
Will founder William Adler calls the new shop a tribute to the brand’s Oregon roots. “We always knew there would be another store for Will, and the decision of where to open our second retail space proved to be clear cut. With our company headquartered in Eugene, we decided to follow our hearts back home. Will is a family owned business and we take pride in bringing our brand’s authenticity and story to every part of the world where our products are found. We are proud Oregonians, and celebrate our appreciation of this great state with the opening of this homestead location.”
The Will store is in good company. The Union Way development is also home to a lifestyle store for Oregon-based Danner Boot, a Steven Alan shop and raw denim specialist Self Edge’s fourth store.
Will Leather Goods was founded in Eugene, Oregon by William Adler in 1981. Adler runs the company as creative director, and has been joined by his son Brent and daughter Shane.
