Agentry PR’s New York Fashion Week Men’s Day will boast ten brands for its second season, up from last spring’s six. The event, co-sponsored by Cadillac, will be at Industria Studios in the Meatpacking District on Wednesday, September 3.
The brands returning from last season are Antonio Azzuolo, Bespoken, Carlos Campos, Lucio Castro and David Hart. New this season are Stephen F, Gents, Marlon Gobel, J. Lindeberg and Original Penguin.
“Based on the success of last season’s showcase, we are thrilled to expand NYMD for September,” said Agentry founder Erin Hawker. “The centralized showcase creates ease for the editorial and buying teams, but also supports emerging design talent thanks to Cadillac.”
Five brands will present their collections simultaneously for an hour in the morning and five will present for an hour in the afternoon. Each brand will have its own decorated studio space for the presentation.
During the February show, three designers, Ernest Alexander, Bespoken and David Hart, designed a mylar wrap for Cadillac’s ATS Coupe. This season all ten of the designers will create wraps for the Cadillacs and fans will choose which one will be on display for the September show.
