Target launches new Disney apparel line

Retailer Target has joined forces with Disney Consumer Products (DCP) to unveil a new line of apparel and accessories called D-Signed.

The collection, which will be available at Target stores across the US and online from 1 August, is targeted at tween girls in sizes from four to 16.

The clothes and accessories are inspired by Disney Channel characters like Sonny Munroe from “Sonny With A Chance”, but do not depict the characters themselves, instead drawing on their general look and personality.

“Tween girls want fashionable clothes that express their individuality and style, but that moms approve of,” said Pam Lifford, executive vice president, global fashion and home at DCP.

“Our D-Signed collection at Target brings it all together in a way that allows young girls to express their fashion sense with quality clothing at budget-friendly prices.”
