It is so cliche, but everything old IS new again. At least that's the way it felt this weekend at Moda Calzado, the shoe show in Madrid, Spain. From the more recent stylings of the 1980's to those of the 1920's, 1890's and beyond, to me, it feels like the style of the 2000s is finally coalescing into something which is both new and old, refreshing and recognizable, art deco and organic in approach.
