This week we’re focusing on Nat-2’s convertible shoes. The sneakers zip apart, the removable upper revealing a sandal underneath. And, because of the zipper, uppers and sandal bottoms of the same size are interchangeable. Retail prices (converted from euros) range from about $115 to $250.
The company was founded in 2007 by two designers, Sebastian Thies and Stephen Yeung of Munich, Germany. They've won a couple of European design awards for their efforts in shoes, and have expanded to backpacks and accessories.
The shoes have shown in two Las Vegas trade shows: WSA and Pool.

Each week, MR’s editors will comment on a product we’ve seen in the market. It could be an emerging trend, a novel take on a classic or something that just caught our eyes.
